Devotion is magnetism of subtler kind but highly powerful
Devotion is considered to be merely a state of mind that is necessary for any aspirant to keep self on ones pursuit... in other words it keeps one on the rails. But the story is not all that about... Devotion arises from the depths where the mind, ego and intellect do not interfere instead they are pushed aside to allow its upsurge construct a magnetic field around he aspirant.
To listen however ridiculous it may or may not seem but it is however a fact, well understood and propagated by our great ancient seers. According our seers devotion bears the intent of a soul which is potent enough to communicate and recieve sought response from the cosmic intelligence. The inent arousing from a soul knows no alternates,conflicts or dichotomy... it merely knows the resolve that must be accomplished.
Devotion though is applied through ones periheral awareness but its function exclusively happens at a highly subtler levels. Devotion pertains to the dimensions and realms of pure love where there is absolute immersion before an objective,ethos or else... once triggered and observed it (devotion) becomes the blanket of ones total perceptory platform. Devotion to its observor can fetch and present tonnes and tonnes of information upon any subject drawn from the cosmic network.
And devotion only prevails when the aspirant bears his/her heart/mind/intellect/ego in line with the subject under consideration... or the voice of the innermost core is so intense that it is able to prevail upon all other rest...
