Could dancing be a manner to invoke the precise divine power that one needs most in any given situation? The answer to this question is yes... beyond any doubt the dance is a manner/procedure to invoke the divine power one my need to come, intervene and help the human being amidst any kind of situation ; whether good or bad. In yoga the postures and mudra play a very important role during higher spiritual practices that directly invoke divinity to bestow its bliss upon a seeker.
The postures and mudra in when in movement become a dance. Dance is not at the mercy of any external input of music... it could sprung exclusively from ones inner experiences. Just for an example in case you are in stress and start moving your hands, legs and neck in the gentlest manner and move all limbs with great ease, harmony and a rythm. Make your breath follow the move and style of your limbs... just flow seamlessly and go on doing it without any want of reason or logic.
Within couple of moments you shall experience your stress levels coming down and in case you are able to maintain your session for some more time then you shall find stress dissipiate to great levels... and in case you are able to prolong the session for more than one hour then you may experience the best possible solution for your problem that caused you that stress.
According to Indian ethos the creator when chooses to create or destroy the whole or any part of its creation it dances and its dance it clearly visible into the apparent outcomes that translate in the form of movements of the mother nature... the dance of Shiva too is a manner under the same ethos.
